Drinking cocktails feels more festive. Preparing and eating meals feels like an event. Simple conversations become backyard party banter. Watching movies on a projection screen (like friend of the blog The Great Chris Talley™ and his wife Heather) is all kinds of drive-in-movie-in-the-'50s awesome.
Funny comments are funnier.
Silly jokes are sillier.
Great times are greater.
Make out sessions are makeoutier.
Not a word. Doesn't matter.
Suffice it to say, spring and summer are perfect seasons for sitting on the back patio and pretending you have nowhere else to be and no one else you'd rather be with.
Last week, friend of the blog and BFF Tina™ sent me a Spotify link with a note that read: "For a patio make out list."
