I think I should repent for the shameful thing that happened while I was driving earlier.
What shameful thing happened, you ask?
I caught myself...
Oh God, it's just too horrible to say.
I caught myself singing, loudly and enthusiastically, along with Taylor Swift's We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
Then it gets worse. How could it get worse, you say?!
Then...
THEN...
I came home and "googled" to see who the song is about, since everyone knows Taylor Swift only writes songs about her unbelievably insipid relationships.
Supposedly, the song is about Jake Gyllenhaal and how he was constantly trying to get her to turn around and bend over so he could force unnecessary vowels and consonants into her name. Or some shit.
Who cares? Reading about Taylor Swift's relationship stories is like listening to a seventh-grader talk about who's going out with who and who dissed who in gym class. I live with a seventh-grader so I speak from experience.
I'm so very ashamed.
So in penance for even giving any thought to this at all, I'm posting this delightful Tweet:
