Last night, my cousin Richard sent me this song. Richard has a talent for sending just the right song at just the right moment.
The song is taken from something Maurice Sendak said during an interview on NPR. The interview is one of the most honest, heartbreaking, and beautiful you will ever have the good fortune to hear. It is worth taking the time to listen to it and to consider life and love and loss. (The portion that inspired the song begins around the 35-minute mark. Be warned. You will cry. If you don't, please see the Wizard about getting a heart.)
