I don't understand how excellent shows like Freaks and Geeks get canceled after airing only 12 episodes, but Angela Lansbury was allowed to travel the country murdering people for 12 years on Murder, She Wrote. Come on. Don't act like she wasn't the killer the whole time. Everywhere she went, people were murdered! It's so obvious. Angela Lansbury was the Dexter of mystery writers!

Hi. I'm Kip. I get my hair cut at Klassy Kuts. |
Anyway, back to Freaks and Geeks.
The show came on during the 1999-2000 television season and was executive produced by Judd Apatow, who went on to direct The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, etc. The cast included James Franco, Seth Rogen, Busy Phillips, and the fabulous Jason Segel. It was a realistic and well-done look at the awkwardness of the teen years. So, of course, it was canceled.
